Hiatus

As some of you may have noticed I haven't updated in, oh say, 10 days which is a ridiculously long time in blog time (well, perhaps not really, but to me it is).  This is all due in part to my other hobby / job which is writing marching band drill (you know, the "dots" used to see where the band members move to create the fun half time shows we all love and adore).  I completely forgot that the month of July is pretty much all work and no play for me and thus I have no extra time for the gym (notice a lack of calorie burning going on in the menu bar although surprisingly I've lost 6 pounds so I'm pretty pumped on that!) or for blogging.  I'm hoping that by August I'll have more time to devote to C2D but as of now I'm going to have to go on a bit of a hiatus while I attend my business.  

I'll be back in no time and can't wait to show you some of the updates I've been doing!  :-) Yay!

First Featured Post!!!

Today is a historic moment in the brief history of Countdown2Done!

Today I was featured on one of my favorite blogs, Twenty-Six-To-Life!  Kate has been a huge inspiration for this blog because she gave me the idea to start a blog which incorporated life goals in a to-do list style (which we all can say, I love).  Please show her some love by checking out her blog since she has made my day (actually all week I've been pumped about the feature).  I've added a button in my menu bar you can click on to see the feature she wrote or since I LOVE it so much, you can just click below!





She featured my before / after post however, if you have checked out my before / after section in my link buttons above you may have noticed there are some progress pictures!  I'll post them below as well for you to see some things I've been working on!

I'll post in more detail about the changes later but until then enjoy some eye candy for now (please tell me I'm not the only one who thinks interior photos are eye candy?)!

Coming out Party!

So after weeks of preparing my new blog I'm finally coming out to the world!  *Happy Dance* I've been taking some time to prepare this site to look it's best (I did go through 3 different color combinations, created 3 different banners and basically kept working until I got it to this point and I'm really excited with how it turned out!  I'm also super pumped to be blogging again!  The last year I had a travel blog about my adventures as an aupair you can read HERE or you can click on the button over in the sidebar.

So since I liked blogging so much the past year I decided a while ago to start one about goals I have in my life as well as projects I've been doing around the house.  My hope is to let friends and family know what I'm up to as well as make some blogger friends!  While I was abroad I had lots of time to browse blogs and realized how much I love home renovations / design as well as organizing so I'll blog about that too.  You can read more about this blog by clicking on the tab above.

I'm currently 23 and living back home while I try to find a job teaching music.  You can read more about me by clicking on that tab above as well.
